Activities |
Enjoy full buffet breakfast in the hotel and have a relaxing morning. After that, a bus tour to the 2008 Olympic Construction Sites. The next stop for this day will be a guided visit to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Tiananmen Square is a culturally significant part of the Chinese culture as it has been the site of several key events in Chinese history. At the Forbidden City, visualize how many Chinese Dynasties served this as their home as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government for almost five centuries. In the evening, enjoy an optional dramatic Chinese Kung Fu performance. |

Learn traditional Tai Chi to start the day in the beautiful hotel garden to gain some Yin and Yang energy. A Chinese Taiji instructor will teach you how to play Taiji. After, take part in a rickshaw tour of Hutong, an important cultural element of the city of Beijing. As you rickshaw through the narrow streets of this city, embrace in its history and the significance of the residential neighborhood. As part of the tour, enjoy lunch with a local family inside a house in Hutong! |

A Sports Exchange will be arranged between North American Sports Team and Chinese Sports Team in the afternoon. Making Chinese dumplings with Chinese students and teachers will be a very special experience for you! |

Visit the famous “Oriental Pearl Tower” and go to the top of the tower to enjoy a bird-eye view of Shanghai. After that, go visit Yuyuan Garden and one of the most popular local markets – Chenghuangmiao to gain a better understanding of this huge metropolitan city. |
