Tianjiao International
Education Group is pleased to offer you a cultural
exchange trip to Beijing in Spring 2007 that highlights
the history, landmarks, and most importantly,
the culture of this beautiful region.
The Canada¨CChina Cultural &
Educational Student Exchange Program is an international
exchange program designed by Tianjiao International
Education Group of Vancouver and is sponsored
in part by the Ministry of Education of Beijing.
This program originated from the belief that cultural
and educational experiences are vital to the development
of an understanding between the youth of these
two great nations.
The focus of this exchange is
to be immersed in a culture that is largely misunderstood,
to experience the hospitality, the food, the history,
and the values of the Chinese people.
The inaugural exchange tour took place in the
summer of 2005 and was met with greatsuccess and
newfound appreciation among the participants.
The exchange is hosted by Tianjiao tour guides
in China's capital city, Beijing, and permits
participants to experience the elements of China's
past, present, and future. The extensive history
of this 5000 year-old nation is realized through
guided visits to such iconic locations as Tiananmen
Square, The Forbidden City, and The Great Wall.
Special sessions are also organized to introduce
you to Chinese tea culture, music, theatre, and
Taiji. Also visit the site of the 2008 Olympic
Summer Games, a local school, factories, and markets.
This program is open to all people. We invite
you and your family to join us on this unique
journey to the orient to experience the wonders
of Chinese history and culture.
