| Pre-Trip Meeting: Tianjiao International Education Group will arrange at least one pre-trip meeting 3 weeks prior to the departure date. During the pre-trip meeting, additional detailed information regarding to the trip will be given, such as weather conditions, travel tips. In addition, each traveller will receive an information package, including TJ name tags, baggage tags.
Family Policy: We sincerely invite and encourage family members and friends to join our trips and to experience the Chinese culture and history.
Referral Policy: By referring our program to each person, you will receive $100 cash back upon referred registration.
Single Room Policy: For a single occupancy room, an additional charge of $60 /per person each day will apply. Unless specified, all individual travelers will share a double occupancy room with another group member.
Airline Baggage Policy: For the international flight, adults and children traveling in economy class are entitled to 2 pieces of free checked baggage and 1 piece of free carry-on baggage. For checked baggage, the maximum dimension of each piece should not exceed 158 cm and the maximum dimension of two pieces should not exceed 273 cm. The weight allowance of each checked baggage is 23kg. The free carry-on baggage for each traveller should not exceed 5 kg and the length should be less than 55cm. In addition, the width and height of the free carry-on baggage should be less than 40cm and 20cm respectively. For the domestic flight in China, adult travellers are entitled to 1 piece of free checked baggage, which should not exceed 20kg (44 lbs) for economy class. For any overweight baggage, a 1.5% of the face value of the one-way non-stop economy class airfare will be charged for every exceeding kilogram.
Optional Shows: There are several optional shows listed on each itinerary, including acrobatic show, Kung Fu show, Tang Dynasty Music and Dance show in Beijing, Shanghai, or Xi’an. Each show will cost $30 per person, including the admission fee and transportation. The Huangpu River Dinner Cruise is another optional activity for travellers to choose in Shanghai. The cost will be $60 per person, including the admission fee and transportation. Please notify TJ Group via E-mail for registration.
Tipping: An $8 a day per person for the tour leader, local tour guide and the bus driver is suggested. It will be collected during the Pre-Trip Meeting or before the departure date. All tips MUST be paid in Cash.
Travel Visa for China: To apply for Chinese Visa, each traveller needs to prepare one recent passport-sized photograph, a valid passport and a copy of completed application form. A CAD $50 for Canadian travellers and US $130 will be charged for a single-entry travel visa to China (valid for 3 months). Please visit your local China Embassy or Consulate for Travel Visa. In addition, Tianjiao International Education Group also offers visa application service for travellers who are not able to visit the Visa office. If you need our visa application service, please send in your signed application form, your passport (has to be valid for at least 6 months after the departure date), one passport-sized photo and a cheque by email. The cost for Canadians will be $120, including visa application fee. The cost for US citizens will be $220, including visa application fee. Please contact us for additional details.
