Olympic Games Sites, Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Chinese Kung Fu Show (Optional)

Enjoy full buffet breakfast in the hotel to start the day followed by a visit to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Sites. A guided visit to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City where the last three dynasties of China ruled. In the evening, enjoy a night city tour or an optional dramatic Chinese Kung Fu show. |

Begin the day with a visit to the biggest jade factory in Beijing after breakfast. Visit the Great Wall of China and enjoy your leisure time exploring one of the great wonders of the world in the afternoon! A feast of Beijing Roasted Duck banquet will be arranged in the evening. |

Activities |
This will be a special day for everyone. The forum will bring together Canadian, American, and Chinese educators, offering participants an opportunity to learn about each other’s educational systems and practices. You can do some preparations for the forum or enjoy a relaxing morning at the hotel. The forum will take place in the afternoon. |

Visit the Capital Museum of China in the morning followed by a visit to Pearl Farm. After lunch, visit a well-known public school. During the visit, you will exchange teaching skills and discuss several topics regarding to the differences between Canadian and Chinese education system. You will also have the precious opportunity to learn the authentic Chinese calligraphy from calligraphy masters. Free time or an acrobatic show will follow dinner (optional). |

Learn traditional Tai Chi to start the day in the beautiful hotel garden to gain some Yin and Yang energy under the instruction of Tai Chi masters followed by a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. Enjoy an exciting rickshaw tour of Hutong, an important cultural element of the ancient Beijing city. As part of the tour, enjoy homemade lunch with a local family. Free time for you to walk around and shop in the afternoon. |

Activities |
Begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, also known as the Altar of Heaven constructed over 600 years. Later on, visit the Lama Temple, which is one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world. In the afternoon, you will visit Guozijian, the Imperial College during Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. It is also the site of the Confucius Temple. |

Depart for Xi’an by a domestic flight from Beijing International Airport. Xi’an is one of the oldest cities in Chinese history. Upon Arrival, a chartered bus will take you to the hotel and check-in followed by a guided bus tour of this city and a visit to the Ancient City Wall. Additional free time or an option of Tang Dynasty Music & Dancing Show in the evening will surely add more beautiful memories to your visit of Xi’an. |
