Arrive in Lhasa, Tibet

Activities |
During the day, you will enjoy the magnificent views of snow mountains, spectacular views of nature, wild animals, and warm atmosphere on the train. This link from Xining to Lhasa is the world’s longest plateau railroad. About 550 km of the tracks run over frozen earth. Upon arrival in the evening, a chartered bus will take you to the hotel and check-in. |

Tibetan Buddhism Lecture, Potala Palace, Tibetan Carpet Factory, Welcome Dinner |
Activities |
A lecture of Tibetan Buddhism from a professor of Tibet University will be arranged to give you some knowledge of Tibet before an exciting visit to the Potala Palace – former living quarters Dalai Lama and is one of the most well-preserved palaces in the world. Later on, visit a traditional Tibetan carpet factory. |

A Visit to Suburb Village of Tibet, Tibetan Medicine Factory, Sera Monastery |
Activities |
This is the day you will be invited to know the real life of the Tibetan people. During the visit to the suburb village, you will be greeted by Hada and Tibetan Butter Tea followed by family visit. In the afternoon, visit one of the biggest Tibetan medicine factories followed by a visit to Sera Monastery, one of the ‘Great Three’ Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet. |

School Visit and Book Donations, Barkhor Street |
Activities |
Visiting a local school and donating books are one of the highlights of this trip. During the visit, you will communicate with local teachers to exchange your great teaching ideas and practices. After lunch, you will visit Jokang Temple and the Barkhor Street. |

Visit the Bund, which stretches one mile along the bank of Huangpu River and is featured with various architectural styles such as Gothic and Renaissance. Later, visit one of the most popular local markets - Chenghuangmiao Market and free time will be arranged in the afternoon followed by a Huangpu River Dinner Cruise (optional). |
